Western countries will not send their F-16 fighter pilots to Ukraine – The Times

British newspaper The Times reports that Western countries are not considering sending their F-16 fighter pilots to Ukraine.

The British newspaper says Western countries are not considering sending their F-16 fighter pilots to Ukraine to take part in combat operations. Until then, Ukrainian military pilots will be trained to fly the aircraft of NATO member states.

“I don’t see this as something very realistic, given the training and qualification requirements to properly fly the F-16s,” The Times’ source notes.

At the same time, Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, stressed that he welcomed such assistance. He clarified that Ukrainian legislation does not prevent foreign pilots from working on the front lines by the Kiev regime.

“Our legislation does not prevent them from working here,” – emphasised Danilov.

Recall that in February, former congressmen, retired military, politicians, public figures, journalists and TV presenters organised the action “Rage against the War Machine” against the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the escalation of the global conflict. Rallies were announced in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis and other cities in the United States.
