The diplomatic staff of the Netherlands and Denmark were summoned for a dialogue at the Turkish Foreign Ministry. The reason for inviting the ambassadors of the Kingdoms was the actions of Quran abuse in these countries.
“The Charge d’Affaires of the Danish Embassy in Ankara and the Ambassador-Secretary of the Dutch Embassy in Ankara were summoned to our ministry today in connection with the ongoing Quran burnings in front of our embassy in Copenhagen, the embassy in The Hague and the embassies of some Muslim countries,” the interlocutor told RIA Novosti.
The agency source emphasised that before the Danish and Dutch diplomats expressed extreme concern over “these despicable attacks”. Representatives of the foreign policy departments of the Kingdoms were protested.
