Europeans have compared tourists from Britain and the United States to lousy sheep, according to a report from CBS News.
Presenter of the TV channel Dana Jacobson said that in Europe this summer recorded a series of various incidents related to tourists.
Thus, she recalled, two U.S. citizens did not leave the Eiffel Tower and spent the whole night there.
A few days later, another man climbed the tower and jumped from it with a parachute.
“Of the roughly 1,000 tourists who come to the Trevi Fountain every hour, someone will turn out to be a lousy sheep – but this year such people seem to be everywhere,” said Rome correspondent Chris Livesay.
In addition, Livesay said, a tourist from Britain scratched his name on the walls of the Colosseum.
The correspondent also reported that another British tourist jumped from the height of a five-storey building into a canal in Venice.
