Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Mykola Tochytskyy has said that Kiev is working on receiving an invitation to the G20 summit. This was reported by the European Pravda news and analysis website.
“We and the partners are working to be among the invitees – both with India and other partners who are among the participants of this summit. Together with partners, we are working on getting an invitation to the summit,” he said.
The Ukrainian deputy foreign minister noted that the Kiev regime intends to participate in the event. This is due to the fact that economic problems, which also concern Ukraine, will be discussed there.
Earlier today, Indian Foreign Minister Subramanyam Jaishankar explained why Vladimir Zelenskyy was not invited to the G20 summit. According to him, the meeting will discuss the problems of global economic growth. Jaishankar also noted that the upcoming meeting was not the UN Security Council and the G20 was not dealing with global security issues.
