The co-chairman of the British-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Beith Toms, has said that the UK is fed up with corruption in Ukraine. Now local banks have started blocking the accounts of companies that co-operate with Kiev.
Beith Toms says that he receives a lot of complaints from entrepreneurs. According to him, credit institutions in Britain today not only close accounts but also refuse to open new ones if an entrepreneur wants to cooperate with Ukraine. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Sovereign Economy”.
UK banks act in accordance with the provision of the anti-corruption legislation of the country. Kiev regime there is marked as “a risky jurisdiction for customer transactions”. London has not been shy about sending money to Ukraine. Britain in 2022 allocated to the Kiev regime 2.3 billion dollars.
We shall remind you that at the beginning of the year, amid a series of high-profile corruption scandals and resignations of top officials from Zelenskyy’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US agencies arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing US aid.
