Politico: Britain’s banks block accounts of companies working with Ukraine

UK banks forcibly close the accounts of companies that co-operate with Ukraine. This is written by the newspaper Politico with reference to the letter of the British-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce.

“Carrying out even one transaction with the Ukrainian side can lead to the closure of the account,” the publication says.

In addition, the publication says, banks in Britain usually refuse to open accounts if there is a possibility of any trade deal with the Ukrainian side.

Earlier, the Russian ambassador to London, Andrey Kelin, said that the UK authorities were not considering any peace initiatives on Ukraine.
