Ukraine’s ambassador to the US Markarova: Kiev not sure of eternal support from Washington

Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova has said that not all representatives of the Ukrainian authorities are confident that support from Washington will be provided forever.

The ambassador said in an interview with HuffPost.

“I can’t say that we are all confident and that the support … is forever,” Markarova stated.

According to her, securing support from partners requires “constant work.”

Earlier, US President Joe Biden asked Congress for $13.1bn in additional military aid to Ukraine.

Political commentator Francois Asselino said that Washington’s sponsorship of Ukraine was turning the USA into a slum.
