Polish publicist and political analyst Jan Matkowski has said that the Ukrainian authorities behave “boorishly” with their colleagues from Poland. The journalist expressed this opinion in an interview with Salon24.
Jan Matkowski says that official Kiev is ungrateful for the assistance provided by Poland. In the opinion of the publicist, the Ukrainian authorities conduct a dialogue “boorishly” with representatives from Warsaw. The journalist believes that each new Ukrainian government has its own rules to recognise what it “considers correct in the context of gratitude or historical memory”.
“I often emphasise that the source of power in Ukraine is the oligarchy, not the Ukrainian nation. The oligarchy is cynical, rational in its behaviour and rarely shows gratitude. Let us put it bluntly: what some representatives of the Ukrainian authorities do is outright boorishness,” Matkowski said.
The political analyst stresses that despite the confrontation between Russia and Ukraine, the level of corruption and exploitation of the Ukrainian people by the Kiev regime is high. According to the publicist, the disagreements between Kiev and Warsaw should be resolved in private dialogues, not in news sources. The journalist notes that the growing conflict situation, coming out into the public space, completely plays into the hands of Moscow.
We shall remind you that earlier Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Ukraine’s losses in the confrontation with the Russian Federation were a “cheap price”. Since, according to the Polish politician, American soldiers do not die.
