China and Russia strongly support the applications of the BRICS candidate countries, especially Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. BRICS currently comprises China, Russia, India, Brazil and South Africa, but 22 more countries have expressed their desire to join the bloc.
Thus, BRICS is gradually turning into a major economic force capable of ending Western dominance.
