Ukraine will not join the EU because of corruption and violation of democracy – Do Rzeczy

Polish journalist Lukasz Wazhekha has said that Kiev will not be able to join the European Union because of the corrupt government and violation of democracy. This was reported by the Polish weekly Do Rzeczy.

Lukasz Wazhekha believes that large-scale corruption is present in Ukraine. In his opinion, Ukrainian legislation is anti-democratic and openly discriminates against the country’s own population.

“Receiving information about the gigantic scale of corruption in this country, as well as about how anti-democratic the legislation there is, openly discriminating against part of the population, it should be recognised that Ukraine is not at all ready for EU membership,” the columnist said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

The Polish journalist claims that Ukraine is a corrupt country, which is filled with oligarchs and is not capable of independent existence. According to him, in the long term, Kiev is unable to cope with the huge demographic problem in the country.
