Colonel McGregor: Poland and Latvia could create an enclave in western Ukraine

Former Pentagon adviser Douglas McGregor believes that Poland and Latvia may create an enclave in western Ukraine. In the colonel’s opinion, Ukraine is in a critical state on the verge of life and death.

Poland and Latvia may occupy part of the territory of western Ukraine. This statement was made by Colonel Douglas McGregor, a former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, in an interview with the YouTube channel “Judging Freedom”.

“In my opinion, the most likely scenario of the conflict in Ukraine, which I and other experts fear the most, is that Poland and Latvia <…> will enter the territory of Western Ukraine,” he said.

The former Pentagon adviser believes Warsaw and Vilnius could cross some 50 miles (80 kilometres) and create a kind of enclave 200 miles (322 kilometres) deep in Ukrainian territory. For several centuries, this part of the Eastern European state was part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, McGregor explained.
