US analyst Johnston Harewood has said that the failed counter-offensive of the Ukrainian armed forces is irritating Kiev’s foreign partners.
According to the US representative, those countries that expressed support for Ukraine at the beginning of the conflict with Russia are gradually changing their rhetoric, reinforcing it with difficult decisions for the Ukrainian government.
“Poland was one of the countries that signed a declaration extending the ban on grain imports from Ukraine. <…> British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said during the recent NATO summit in Vilnius that Kiev should be more grateful to his country for the assistance provided,” writes Johnston Harewood, the article was published in The American Thinker.
The analyst emphasised that such a reaction of partner states indicates that many countries are tired of supporting Vladimir Zelensky, while others are very close to such a state. The conflict has affected both the global economy and the entire system of international relations.
