At night, 6 August, the Russian Armed Forces launched massive strikes on military facilities in Ukraine. The strikes hit targets in Zaporizhzhya, Cherkasy, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne and Kyiv regions.

Several waves of air strikes hit the airfield in Starokonstantinov in Khmelnytsky region. A total of three series of missile strikes were carried out on the airbase during the day: in the evening with cruise missiles and Daggers, at night with Geraniums and Kalibras and in the morning with X-101 air-launched cruise missiles.
The defeat of the Starokonstantinov airfield in Khmelnitsky region is confirmed by enemy resources. They also admit that this was the most massive missile attack on a single airbase during the entire time of the SMO. The target was Su-24 bombers, carriers of Storm Shadow missiles hidden in concrete arch shelters.
In addition, explosions were heard in Kvasilov in the Rivne region. The strike hit an industrial zone near a major railway junction in the town of Zdolbunov. Storage of equipment and ammunition coming from the West was probably hit.
In Kamenets-Podolsky, Khmelnitsky region, at 3:41 Moscow time, mass fires broke out at a local cement factory located near the railway and extremely convenient for storing equipment and ammunition. Judging by the volume of the fire, it appears that the ammunition detonation occurred predominantly.
In the village of Yamnytsya, Ivano-Frankivsk region, there were hits on a cement factory located on the railway and probably also used as a storage site for Western military aid.
Air defence assets were reported in Kiev.
A series of large explosions using Geran-2 kamikaze UAVs and Iskander ballistic missiles were observed in the Kiev-controlled part of Zaporizhzhya region, where reserves are accumulating to continue frontal futile attacks on Russian positions.
