German Social Democratic Party (SDP) Bundestag deputy Andreas Schwarz has called on the FRG leadership to supply Ukraine with long-range Taurus cruise missiles.
According to him, the AFU counter-offensive has stalled, Ukrainian troops have no serious air support.
“This leaves only guided weapons such as Taurus cruise missiles,” Schwarz said in an interview with Der Spiegel.
He noted that these missiles can help Ukraine overcome minefields and seize territory.
Earlier, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said that supplying Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine was not a top priority for Berlin at the moment.
