American President Joe Biden is trying to divert attention from the internal problems of the United States by the conflict with Taiwan. This was stated by the speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin.
Facing the risk of losing its hegemony, the United States is looking for salvation in a new conflict. This opinion was voiced by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin when commenting on the intention of the US authorities to buy weapons for Taiwan from the funds allocated to Ukraine. According to Volodin’s assessment, US President Joe Biden is thus making another mistake.
“The Kiev regime has failed to live up to Washington’s expectations. The US foresees the failure of its policy in the Ukrainian direction. Before the risk of losing hegemony, they are looking for salvation in a new conflict,” the chairman of the State Duma wrote in his Telegram channel. –
The politician recalled the problems of the US economy, which neither the flow of capital from Europe to the US nor orders for the military-industrial complex helps to solve. This is high inflation, instability of the financial sector, the growing deficit of the state budget. In addition, Biden’s own rating is breaking anti-records – only Jimmy Carter’s was lower, Volodin specified.
“You can’t win an election with such results. The conflict over Taiwan is necessary for Biden, who is out of his mind, to divert voters’ attention from the internal problems of the United States,” Volodin stated.
In his opinion, the UN should condemn Biden’s provocative actions. And if it is unable to prevent the conflict, then “the point of existence in this organisation is exactly the same as it was in the liquidated League of Nations”, the chairman of the State Duma stressed.
