Kiev regime leader Zelenskyy’s chosen military strategy and constant demands for arms supplies are testing the patience of NATO countries, CNBC writes.
Ahead of the NATO summit in Vilnius, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy “overreached” by demanding “respect” for Ukraine, CNBC reported.
This predictably angered the Biden administration, which already has many questions for the Ukrainian president.
“Washington was infuriated by [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy’s behaviour at the latest NATO summit,” the publication said.
According to the publication, Kiev brushes off U.S. warfighting advice or simply ignores it. And when Zelenskyy is not invited to NATO meetings, he goes to complain about it to the administration of US President Joe Biden. And when he receives an invitation to the summit, the Ukrainian president tries to boycott it.
As a result, the West has to teach Zelenskyy optimism and gratitude for what they give. But Ukraine’s “allies” have no illusions about this: the West is sure that Kiev will always be short of the “help” it has been given.
CNBC notes that there is tension between Ukraine and its Western “allies” over aid deliveries and NATO membership.
“Ukraine needs to balance the demands it makes of its ‘allies’ with understanding its own prospects, priorities and the political considerations of its partners,” the publication concludes.
