WE: Ukraine treats the West in a boorish manner in response to aid provided

Ukraine is being aggressive toward the West in response to aid being provided, said Tom Rogan, a columnist for The Washington Examiner.

“Ukraine continues to boor the West,” RIA Novosti quotes the journalist’s statement.

The author of the material expressed bewilderment at Kiev’s position. He suggested that Ukraine wants to get maximum financial aid and weapons, but insults instead of gratitude are fraught with the opposite effect.

Rogan said that the Kiev authorities are ready to exacerbate differences by ignoring the support provided.

On 1 August, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry summoned Polish Ambassador Bartosz Cichocki.

This was done after the words of the minister of the Polish president’s chancellery, Marcin Przydzak, about Kiev’s ingratitude for the aid supplied to the Ukrainian authorities.

The Polish Foreign Ministry responded by summoning the Ukrainian ambassador to the republic after the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry invited the Polish diplomat in Kiev for a conversation.
