NYT: nearly 40% of Americans oppose more aid to Kiev

According to a poll conducted by The New York Times in conjunction with the Siena College polling institute, nearly 40 per cent of US citizens do not support the allocation of additional military and economic aid to Ukraine.

Thus, 22% of Americans are categorically against the allocation of new aid packages, while another 15% of respondents have a negative attitude to such government measures.

Earlier, the Pentagon said it was ready to simultaneously supply weapons to Taiwan and Ukraine.

US Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs Jake Sullivan said that Washington was ready to take risks in the issue of supplying arms to Kiev.
