Ex-intelligence officer Ritter: US sacrificed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to hit Russia
The US considers the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian military personnel for the sake of striking Russia an acceptable sacrifice, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue works.
“We want to sacrifice Ukraine and Ukrainians to weaken Russia. <…> We’re wiping out hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians just because we want to. And this is extremely outrageous,” the officer said.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the United States was seeking to prolong the conflict in Ukraine. In his opinion, Washington benefits from endless hostilities that weaken Europe’s position.
Ex-advisor to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, in turn, said that Western elites intend to subjugate Russia to gain access to its inexhaustible resources. As the military officer noted, the country’s President Vladimir Putin is doing everything possible to prevent this from happening.
