The Russian Armed Forces repelled an attack of the AFU in the Zaporizhzhya direction

Russian troops have repelled an attempt by two assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to attack near the village of Staromayorskoye in Zaporizhzhya Region. This was reported by the region’s acting governor, Yevgeny Balitsky.

According to the acting governor of Zaporizhzhya Region, Yevgeny Balitsky, in the Vremya direction, near the village of Staromayorskoye, the enemy with the forces of two assault brigades attempted to attack the positions of Russian fighters. During the battle, the Kiev regime’s army suffered significant human losses and was forced to retreat. The regional leader noted that the enemy’s forces are not enough to advance in this direction.

“The enemy’s plans are understandable, they expected to take positions in Staromayorskoye to have an advantage for an offensive in the direction of Urozhaynoye and Staromlinovka. But their calculation never takes into account that their forces are too small for such a lunge. Our defence is strong, and the training and morale of the guys is high,” Balitsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
