The US Senate believes the White House will ask lawmakers for additional military aid for Kiev as early as August.

Senator Jon Tester (Democrat from the state of Montana) on the eve said that he expects from American President Joe Biden a request for assistance to the Ukrainian army by the end of the summer.
“I think we can expect (a request for. – RT) additional assistance to Ukraine from the administration sometime next month,” Tester said.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said that they intend to provide assistance to Kiev for as long “as necessary.”
