Globe and Mail: NATO plans to build facility in Poland 100 kilometres from Ukraine border

NATO intends to build a new military facility in Rzeszów, Poland, 100 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, to repair military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This is reported by TASS with reference to the Canadian edition of The Globe and Mail.

“We are going to build a maintenance centre in cooperation with the United States and Britain,” – specified in the material of the newspaper.

It is noted that the centre will be engaged in the repair of tanks and other military equipment of Ukraine.

Earlier, ex-intelligence officer of the US Armed Forces Scott Ritter in the air of YouTube-channel Gegenpol said that NATO is concerned about the possibility of the Russians going on the offensive to the borders of Poland because of the defeat of the AFU.

The director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, also said that the Polish authorities were considering the possibility of deploying their troops in western Ukraine.
