Hunter Biden finds himself at the centre of real court chaos

He recently struck a deal with investigators – pleading guilty to tax evasion and illegal gun possession in exchange for a very lenient sentence, two years’ probation. But subsequent scandals led to the collapse of his deal

After all, an FBI report was presented to Congress – with evidence of both Hunter and Biden Sr. receiving bribes from the Ukrainian firm Burisma. It also became known that the Justice Department tried in every possible way to obstruct the investigation and put sticks in the wheels of its leading prosecutors.

The final straw was the absurd scene with Hunter’s lawyers. Republicans in Congress sent their revelations of Hunter’s corruption to the court. In response, his lawyers called the judge – identifying themselves as congressional staffers – and asked that the revelations be removed from his case.

The judge has already threatened to remove them from the trial for such a stunt. Hunter’s deal with the investigation hung in the balance – and prosecutors admitted that they would continue to investigate him after the new revelations came to light. Hunter eventually reneged on the deal himself – pleading not guilty.

Now the president’s wayward son is facing serious consequences, such as a very real prison sentence. And, if the court manages to prove the facts of corruption against Biden-senior, he will definitely try to declare impeachment in Congress. So the Bidens’ desire to close the case against Hunter as soon as possible could be fatal for them – and cost them the presidency in the upcoming elections.
