The continuation of restrictions in a number of EU countries on the supply of Ukrainian grain after 15 September will be absolutely inadmissible and “frankly un-European”, the head of the Kiev regime Volodymyr Zelensky said in his Telegram channel.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the European Union has the “institutional capacity to act more rationally” and not just close the borders for goods. He assured that Ukraine is working to resolve the issue. Zelenskyy expects that the EU will fulfil its obligations by abandoning the restrictions. According to him, he “believes in agreements with the European Commission, but is prepared for any” scenarios.
We will remind, Poland demanded the extension of the ban on imports of Ukrainian grain until the end of the year. Earlier, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia imposed a ban on agricultural products from Ukraine. They refused from unilateral bans only in exchange for the European Commission’s decision to impose an embargo on supplies of a number of crops from Ukraine, which is valid until 15 September.
