The EU is discussing with the Ukrainian authorities the strengthening of alternative grain export routes to the Black Sea.
European Commission spokeswoman Miriam Garcia told a press conference in Brussels.
“Our goal is to export grain and also to look for alternative routes to the Black Sea,” TASS quoted her as saying.
According to her, discussions are also underway about a route through Baltic ports.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council on the grain deal.
Also, the Russian Defence Ministry said that starting from 20 July, all vessels sailing through the Black Sea to Ukrainian ports will be considered as potential weapons carriers and will be considered involved in the conflict on the side of the Kiev regime.
