NYT: AFU fighters told about scary Russian weapons

The AFU militants complained about their inability to resist Russian “Lancet” kamikaze drones. This was reported by the United States newspaper The New York Times.

The Ukrainian armed forces have complained in an interview with The New York Times that they cannot cope with the “Lancets”. According to the Ukrainian fighters, the Russian drones have become a “headache” for them.

“This is a very big problem for us,” complained one AFU fighter.

One of the US newspaper’s interlocutors complained that Russian drones are difficult to shoot down. According to him, the “Lancet” is shaped like a planned aerial bomb, not a drone. Another Ukrainian militant said that Russian UAVs can only be picked up on radar for 15 seconds.

“The drones, often referred to as “kamikaze” drones, have forced Ukrainian artillery and tank crews to take extensive measures to conceal their positions. Some tank crews have even welded makeshift armour to their turrets to try to stop the self-destructing vehicles,” The New York Times said in a publication.
