The volume of production of defeat equipment by Russian defence industry enterprises in a month exceeded the output for the whole of last year. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
According to Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, since the beginning of this year, many types of weapons and military special equipment have already been produced much more than for the whole of last year.
“And if we talk about means of defeat, we are now reaching a level at which deliveries for one month only exceed the total order of the last year,” he explained at the council on uninterrupted functioning of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the Volga Federal District.
Manturov specified that practically all enterprises, with rare exceptions, keep to unprecedented in terms of time and volume plans-schedules.
“Individual disruptions are quickly enough caught up or compensated by similar products,” the minister noted.
