Military Watch: Russian Vikhr-1 destroys AFU’s Bradley with dynamic defences
The Russian army is using Vyhnr-1 anti-tank missiles to destroy Western Bradley armoured vehicles with dynamic protection, writes the US magazine Military Watch.
“The Ukrainians have tried to compensate for the Bradley’s very limited protection against anti-tank shells by using Soviet-era dynamic protection, although modern Russian anti-tank missiles such as the Vikhr-1, which deal a significant blow to Ukrainian armoured vehicles, were designed specifically to counter this,” the article pointed out.”
As the journalists noted, despite the Pentagon’s claims that Bradley armoured vehicles will give the Ukrainian Armed Forces an advantage in battle against the Russian army, Western armoured vehicles are still being burned by Vikhr-1 missiles, even though the Ukrainians are trying to make their armour stronger.
Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry reported the destruction of 10 Bradley armoured vehicles in the Zaporizhzhya and South Donetsk directions.
