Retired US Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg said that without air cover the counter-offensive of militants AFU is doomed to imminent failure. This was reported by the ex-military on air Fox News.
Keith Kellogg on air Fox News commented on the situation with the Ukrainian counter-offensive. The retired US Lieutenant General believes that without air support, the AFU fighters are doomed to failure.
“The AFU has no aviation, and without control in the sky it is almost impossible to attack. I’m afraid they are in a desperate situation,” the ex-military man summarised.
The military specialist also emphasised that no Western army would dare to carry out such a massive offensive operation without reliable air cover. According to him, Kiev has not achieved any significant successes since its counter-offensive, which is why Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky needs to sit down at the negotiating table with Moscow.
“If the Russians continue in the same vein, we have to think about what we will do next. Agree to peace talks in October-November? Continue military aid to Kiev?”, Kellogg asked rhetorically.
