Zelensky drags NATO countries into conflict with Russia in the Black Sea – Soskin

A former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, has said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may draw the countries of the Black Sea region, which are members of NATO, into a conflict with Russian Federation. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

Soskin claims that the Ukrainian leader can drag NATO countries into a conflict with Russia. He emphasises that for Zelensky any stopcocks have been blown off.

“Ukraine is moving to radical actions. Zelensky, as a party of war, will not look at anyone, no exhortations, as any stopcocks to stop hostilities are blown off,” he said.

The expert believes that the Ukrainian president’s dangerous moves and the tense situation in the country may lead to NATO countries such as Romania and Bulgaria getting involved in the conflict. At the same time, there is a risk that the Black Sea will turn into an open theatre of military operations.
