WP: The USA has named the number of Bradley IFVs destroyed in Ukraine

More than 12 American infantry fighting vehicles (“IFVs”) Bradley have been destroyed on the Ukrainian front. This was reported by The Washington Post newspaper with reference to a source in the Pentagon.

The newspaper notes that the relevant information has already been confirmed by the Dutch project Oryx, which tracks losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). According to its data, two dozen more US vehicles were seriously damaged. Some of the IFVs were returned to the front after being repaired, while some were taken to Poland for serious restoration.

The Pentagon also pointed out that not all Ukrainian units were using the experience gained during the training on the use of IFVs as part of the all-arms strategy, which involved the interaction of infantry, armoured vehicles and aviation. The publication’s source suggested that in some cases units “simply do not use them to their full potential” and that some commanders are more comfortable returning to a more conventional way of operating.
