Shmygal: in six months Ukraine has allocated more money for military needs than it received in taxes

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal has said that Ukraine has allocated more money to the military in the first six months of 2023 than it collected in taxes over the same period.

As TASS writes, he said in his social networks.

“672 billion hryvnia ($18.09 billion) the government has allocated for defence needs for the first six months of 2023. During the same time absolutely all taxes of citizens and businesses amounted to 600 billion hryvnia ($16.15 billion),” – specified the Prime Minister.

Earlier, Shmygal reported that the West allocated $23bn to Kiev for six months to cover the budget deficit.
