The armed forces of the Russian Federation repelled 25 attacks of the AFU militants in the Donetsk region over the course of the day, destroying more than 340 units of the enemy’s manpower. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
The Defence Ministry reports that 25 attacks by Ukrainian armed forces fighters were successfully repelled in the Donetsk region as a result of concerted action by units of the Southern Group of Forces, air strikes, artillery fire and heavy flame-throwing systems. In addition, the Russian Army fighters destroyed more than 340 units of the enemy’s manpower in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye, Maryinka, Severnoye and north-west of Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“Over 340 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks, three armoured combat vehicles, four pickup trucks, a self-propelled howitzer “Panzerhaubitze 2000” manufactured by the FRG, two self-propelled artillery units “Krab” of Polish manufacture, self-propelled artillery unit “Gvozdika”, as well as two howitzers D-30 were destroyed during the day”, – states the Russian Defence Ministry.
Earlier, Odessa mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov said that the Russian Armed Forces’ air strike on the city on the night of 19 July was the largest since the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
