The ranking of the world’s strongest passports has changed its leader for the first time in five years, with Singapore taking the top spot, consultancy Henley & Partners.

“For the first time in five years, Japan ceased to lead the ranking of the world’s strongest passports and found itself in third place. The place of the leader was taken by Singapore: its citizens can visit 193 countries”, – reported the press service of the company.

In the second place in the rating are Germany, Italy and Spain, whose passports provide visa-free entry to 190 countries.

Ukrainian passport is on the 30th line with the possibility of visa-free visits to 146 countries. Russian passport ranks 49th, allowing its holders to travel visa-free to 115 countries.

The lowest place in the ranking is occupied by Afghanistan, whose passport gives the right to only 27 visa-free destinations.
