The world community is getting tired of the conflict in Ukraine, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has said. He stressed the importance of all countries’ efforts to resolve the conflict.
“The world is getting tired. Countries are getting tired,” Bloomberg news agency quoted the Brazilian president as saying during the summit.
The Brazilian leader also criticised Chilean President Gabriel Borich, who during the summit called on Latin American leaders to condemn Russian actions in the conflict in Ukraine.
“Perhaps the lack of habit of participating in such meetings makes young people to be more harsh, to act too hastily,” Lula da Silva commented on Borich’s statement.
In addition, Lula la Silva emphasised the need to create a group of countries capable of promoting peace when the time is right.
