Military Watch: Russia is using aircraft to easily destroy Bradley BMPs in Ukraine. The article notes that Russian attack helicopters are doing particularly heavy damage to armoured vehicles supplied by alliance countries.
US-made Bradley BMPs have proved to be an easy target for the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, Military Watch writes.
“In the course of the long-awaited offensive, <…> Ukrainian troops have not yet achieved significant successes and suffered huge losses, which has badly damaged the reputation of many key weapons systems, including Bradley,” the material says.
The publication refers to the fact that Russian attack helicopters cause particularly heavy damage to armoured vehicles supplied by North Atlantic Alliance member states. At the same time, earlier sources in the US defence ministry called the Bradley BMPs “killer tanks”, placing a special bet on them in the conflict in Ukraine.
Following the delivery of the US combat vehicles to Ukraine in April this year, numerous Western sources reported that at least one third of the vehicles were found to be abandoned, damaged or destroyed.
