In the early morning of Monday, 17 July, there was an emergency on the Crimean bridge from the side of the Krasnodar Territory. This is reported by the governors of the two regions. At the moment, traffic on the bridge has been stopped.
“Traffic has been stopped on the Crimean bridge: there was an emergency incident in the area of the 145th pillar from the side of the Krasnodar Territory. Law enforcement agencies and all responsible services are working,” the head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov wrote in his Telegram-channel.
The Governor noted that all measures are being taken to restore the situation. Aksyonov advised to refrain from travelling across the bridge and choose an alternative route through new regions. The head of the region also urged everyone to keep calm and get information only from verified sources.
The work of the ferry crossing between Crimea and Kuban has been stopped, said the head of Temryuksky district Fedor Babenkov.
