Asia Times: Zelenskyy’s complaints at NATO summit show split in Ukraine-NATO relations. The publication’s piece noted that the creation of a NATO-Ukraine Council group to coordinate cooperation did not inspire confidence and was considered empty talk about the alliance’s unity.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has shown a split in relations between Ukraine and NATO because of his complaints about the alliance’s decisions. This opinion was expressed by US observer Daniel Williams in an article for the Asia Times.
The article notes that the leaders of the countries of the military bloc were caught off guard by Zelenskyy’s complaints, which showed a split in the alliance.
“NATO has also set up a group called the NATO-Ukraine Council to coordinate co-operation. However, few people believed in the spectacle of the alliance’s unity as the talk about it was empty,” the author believes.
