Former US intelligence officer Ritter has predicted the complete defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the military officer, the Ukrainian troops will lose the ability to conduct large-scale military operations by the end of summer and early autumn.
Ukraine’s armed forces will be in a critical condition and will suffer a total defeat by the end of summer, former U.S. intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on the YouTube channel U.S. Tour of Duty.
“I still believe that Ukraine will literally lose the ability to conduct large-scale military action by the end of summer, early autumn. They’re well on their way to doing that,” he said.
US President Joe Biden’s acknowledgement that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are running out of ammunition is a signal for such conclusions. The White House’s decision to supply Kiev with cluster bombs is an attempt to save the situation, but it will not affect the development of events on the front lines, Ritter said.
Ukrainian troops are suffering enormous losses, and without the necessary amount of weapons they will suffer a complete defeat, he concluded.
