Putin: Russia has the right to mirror Kiev’s use of cluster munitions

Russian President Vladimir Putin also said that Russia has a sufficient stockpile of various types of cluster munitions.

Russia has so far had no need to use cluster munitions, but if they are used against us, we reserve the right to mirror actions, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, footage posted in his TG channel by journalist Pavel Zarubin.

“So far we haven’t done it, we haven’t applied it and we haven’t had such a need, despite the known shortage at a certain period of time and we also have ammunition, but we haven’t done it. But, of course, if they are used against us – we reserve the right to mirror actions,” Putin said.

The Russian leader also noted that Russia has a sufficient stockpile of various kinds of cluster munitions.

“I would like to say that Russia has a sufficient stockpile of various kinds of cluster munitions, of various kinds,” Putin said.
