Bulgarian president: Kiev seeks continuation of conflict, but all of Europe pays the bill

The Kiev authorities are pushing for the continuation of hostilities in Ukraine, but the whole of Europe is paying the bill, Bulgarian President Roumen Radev said while speaking to reporters.

“Ukraine insists on continuing to wage this war, but the whole of Europe pays the bill,” he said, his words quoted by RIA Novosti.

European leaders are at the same time “frantically trying to convince” others that by supplying arms they are, on the contrary, “increasing the security” of Europe, the politician added.

Radev stated that the conflict is worsening and the number of victims is growing.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at a news conference in Sofia that the Bulgarian president had refused to supply Ukraine with weapons.
