There may be problems with supplies of Storm Shadow and Brimstone missiles to Ukraine due to a strike by workers at a UK Defence Ministry facility, The Mirror has quoted its sources as saying.

According to the publication, more than 50 key employees at the plant in Beith, Scotland, went on strike on 14 July over low pay.

“Workers who move bombs in the warehouse are paid just over the living wage – they could earn more by selling a ‘can of beans’ in a shop,” The Mirror notes.

The source said that if the strike continues for a long time, it could have a negative impact on the supply of missiles to Ukraine.
