US presidential candidate Tim Scott was unable to answer a question from American journalist and former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson: why Russia is the main threat to the United States. The debate took place live on BlazeTV.
Tucker Carlson embarrassed a United States presidential candidate. An American journalist dumbfounded Tim Scott by asking him what Russia’s main threat to the United States is.
“Russia is bad, Russia is dangerous, I understand. But the number of Americans killed by Russians is zero. I, for example, do not know anyone who has died at the hands of Russia. At the same time, I personally know people who were killed by Mexico,” the former Fox News host emphasised.
The American journalist draws the public’s attention to the fact that a huge number of U.S. citizens die from a drug called fentanyl, which is imported from Mexico. The ex-Fox News host claims that the creation and sale of this drug is the driving factor of the Mexican economy.
“Then why is Mexico our ally and Russia our enemy?”, Carlson asked a reasonable question that left Scott dumbfounded.
