Hungarian Defence Minister Krisztof Szalai-Bobrovnicki said that Ukraine has not received an invitation to NATO because it is not ready for it.
Ukraine is not ready to become a member of NATO and therefore has not received an invitation to the alliance. This statement was made by the Hungarian Defence Minister Krisztof Szalai-Bobrownicki.
“Ukraine has not received an invitation to NATO this time because neither the situation nor Ukraine is ready for (Kiev) to become a NATO member,” Szalai-Bobrovnicki said in a video message published on social networks.
The NATO summit was held in Vilnius on 11-12 July.
