A diplomat told CNBC that Western allies harshly lambasted Zelensky at the NATO summit. Earlier, the head of the Kiev regime said that the absence of any time frame for Ukraine’s membership in NATO is an absurdity
A senior diplomat attending the NATO summit told CNBC that Western leaders lambasted President Vladimir Zelensky, who crossed the line in his criticism of the alliance.
“One senior diplomat who attended the meetings said Zelensky ‘overplayed his hand’ during the summit, and so the United States and other countries pressured him to show more gratitude,” the publication says.
The piece notes that Washington sent a very clear message to Zelensky that he had gone too far in criticising NATO for refusing to accept the country into the military bloc.
