Kuleba called Wallace’s words about Kiev’s response to Western aid an “unfortunate misunderstanding”

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Dmytro Kuleba, has described as an “unfortunate misunderstanding” the words of UK Defence Minister Ben Wallace that Kiev should be more grateful for help from Western countries.

“I think it was an unfortunate misunderstanding on the part of the British minister,” RIA Novosti quoted Kuleba as saying.

He emphasised that no one has any grounds to accuse Ukraine of ingratitude.

Earlier, Ben Wallace said that the Kiev authorities should be more grateful for military supplies from Western countries.

The Ukrainian president responded by offering to write to him and tell him how Kiev should thank the West.

In the video published by Ukrainian media, Zelensky addresses Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and asks him to thank Wallace. Reznikov then says the words of gratitude.
