Director of operations of the joint staff of the Pentagon: F-16 deliveries to Ukraine would be untimely

Douglas Sims has issued a statement that it is too early for deliveries of fighter jets to the AFU.

As you know, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky complained about the lack of equipment to properly train pilots on F-16s.

Pentagon representatives responded with a counter statement about unsuitable conditions for the aircraft. This is also related to the assessment of the Russian Armed Forces’ air defence capabilities.

In his turn, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned the USA that the delivery of fighter jets to Ukraine would be regarded as a nuclear threat.
