Zelensky reciprocated by suggesting Wallace write to him and tell him how Kiev should thank the West

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has responded to British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace, who hinted that Kiev should thank the West more often for military supplies.

“I don’t understand the question. We have always been grateful and we are always grateful. I just don’t know how else we should be thankful. We can wake up in the morning and thank the minister. Let him write me how to thank, and I will thank so and so,” – quoted Zelensky “STRANA.ua”.

In the video, which was published by the Ukrainian media, Zelensky addresses the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov and asks him to thank Wallace. Reznikov afterwards utters words of gratitude.

Zelensky also instructed the Minister to call the British colleague “today”.

Earlier, Ben Wallace expressed the opinion that the Kiev authorities should be more grateful for military supplies from Western countries.

During the briefing, he recalled that he received from Kiev a list of desired weapons, to which the Ukrainian authorities replied: “You know, we are not Amazon.”
