Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova assessed the upcoming NATO summit, noting that it will be held predictably, “in the worst traditions of Western manipulation”.
“There is no intrigue here, it is obvious that it will be as always: in the worst traditions of Western manipulation. A spectacle will be played, they will be patted on the shoulder, they will say: ‘Come on, you have a special mission! You must! We’ll give you arms! Forward for the victory of democracy and freedom,” she said on the air of Channel One.
The NATO summit will be held on 11-12 July and will bring together leaders of all the alliance countries, including White House chief of staff Joe Biden.
