The newspaper Rzeczpospolita published the results of the survey, according to which the majority of Polish residents do not support the accelerated accession of Kiev to the NATO bloc.
According to the poll, 47.7 per cent of Poles oppose accelerated accession of Ukraine to NATO, 40 per cent support this step, and 12.3 per cent of respondents have no opinion on this issue.
Among the opponents of the accelerated procedure of Kiev’s accession to the alliance prevail supporters of the Polish opposition (54%), men living in medium-sized cities (71%), with higher education (60%), with a good level of income (57%).
The poll was conducted on 7 and 8 July with 1,100 participants.
